  7. ** Installation Suggestions
  8.  
  9.    1. If you have a directory utility like DirectoryOpus, SID,
  10.       Disk Master, or CLImate.  Use it to install the Upgrade.
  11.       It will make installation a lot easier!
  12.  
  13.    2. If you have trouble with the screen colors not showing up as
  14.       described in the Addendum. Delete the PSPrefs file. Then you may
  15.       have to go back and set all of your paths and printer driver again.

  18. ** CHANGES FROM 2.21 to 2.22
  19.  
  20.   This is a very minor upgrade intended mainly for owners of AGA
  21.   Amiga computers (A1200 and A4000). PageStream2.21 could open on
  22.   any Workbench screen, up to 256 colors, but could only open on
  23.   custom screens up to 16 colors. This is changed in 2.22 to a
  24.   maximum of 256 colors. To see the number of colors for a custom
  25.   screen, you need to change the tooltypes for PageStream (see
  26.   the manual for more info) to:

  28.      SCREEN=custom
  29.      COLORS=#
  30.  
  31.      where # is 2, 4, 8, 16, 32, 64, 128 or 256.

  33.   Note that bitmap pictures are displayed in black and white in
  34.   PageStream 2.

  36.   Note that to open PageStream2 on a DOUBLENTSC or DOUBLEPAL
  37.   screen, instead of the default HI-RES INTERLACE screen, you
  38.   must toggle on MODE PROMOTION with the IPREFS preferences
  39.   program.

  41. ** VERY, VERY IMPORTANT!!!
  42.  
  43.   PageStream 2.22 uses the bottom four colors for the interface
  44.   colors. PageStream 2.21 and earlier used the bottom two colors
  45.   and the top two colors. If you install PageStream 2.22 and do
  46.   not delete your prefs file, PageStream 2.22's interface colors
  47.   will look odd. Change the bottom four colors to:
  48.  
  49.      color 0: (default is gray  R10 G10 B10)
  50.      color 1: (default is black R0  G0  B0 )
  51.      color 2: (default is white R15 G15 B15)
  52.      color 3: (default is blue  R6  G8  B11)

  54.   You can change the screen colors manually with the Change
  55.   Screen Colors command.
  56.  
  57.   The reason for this change is to adapt to the new Amiga standard.
  58.   In color modes above 4, highlighting of the toolbox icons and
  59.   gadgets may be odd (depending on your other screen color
  60.   choices). In the next version of PageStream, the change to the
  61.   new color system will be completed.

  66. ** New things that didn't make it into the manual addendum:

  68.    1. Included on this disk is a new HP DeskJet Color driver. It prints
  69.       300 dpi.
  70.  
  71.    2. With this version of PageStream you can now double-click on something
  72.       to "OK" it.

  74.    3. You can now select on buttons not only by clicking on the actual
  75.       button but by clicking on the words describing what it is.

  77.       Example: in the "NEW" requester clicking on the words   - 8.5" x 11"
  78.       will select the button.

  85.    files except where necessary. Additionally some files that were not
  86.    updated with this version have not been included. You will find these
  87.    on your 2.1 set of disks.
